Sir,
We are very delighted to inform you that FEA(Fragrance English Association) has been functioning in the school GHSS thadathilparamba olavattur, which is situated ten kilometres away from Calicut Ai port.Every week the members of the English Club sit together to discuss some important issues which are socially and politically poignant. We were shocked to know that 13 people died in a bus accident at Thelakkad near Perinthalmanna in Malappuram District.
Last week our members discussed
the topic’ Road Accidents: Reasons and suggestions’. Our Principal Abdussamad Sir and the Headmaster Prabhakaran Nair andcommerce
teacher Sabitha.M joined us. With great optimism we, hereby send you ten
important suggestions that evolved out of the discussion.
1.Traffic Police should keep constant vigil to catch the drunken drivers
red handed. They should be more active
in the night. The licence of such
drivers should be cancelled and given rigorous imprisonment.
2.Regional
Transport Offices should be made corruption free, especially in our Malabar region. Now they are under the control of the
agencies that make everything possible
in the magical power of money.
3.Each an every
main bus stand should have at least two officials who are easily approachable
to the common people, special care
should be taken to keep them off bribery.
3. Traffic Police should conduct random
checking of the vehicles on the road. At
least the visible parts of the vehicles like tyres and indicator functioning
should be checked.
5. Mobile phones
of the drivers should be kept away from their hands while driving the vehicles.
6. R T O should
monitor the dealings of the drivers and conductors with the passengers. Awards
should be given to the drivers and conductors in the district level for their
best performance.
7.The public
also should be given an awareness that conductors and drivers are earning for
the livelihood, and that they are also
the integral part of the society.
8.Signals and Cameras should be set up to catch the law
breakers. All the possibilities of IT
world should be explored to make public transport system transparent and
systematic.
9.Malaysian
Model flyovers should be built to reduce the traffic jams.
10.Drivers and
conductors should be given soft skill classes at least once an year.
Sir,
We do believe that
the officials with vision and passion can bring positive changes in the
world. No doubt, you are such an angel gifted
to God’s own country. Almighty may
empower you to fulfil your dreams.
Expecting your timely intervention.
Yours lovingly
Secretary
FEA, GHSSTHADATHILPARAMBA,OLAVATTUR.
