Homage paid to K. Raghavan

The Fragrance English Association of GHSS, Thadathilparamba, near Kondotty, paid homage to music composer K. Raghavan on Tuesday.

Ashok Kumar, folklore artiste, inaugurated the function. Association members Fatima Nidasha, Jasmila, and Yasmin remembered the contributions made by Raghavan to Malayalam cinema and music. Association coordinator Govinda Raj and teachers A.K. Salih and A. Mashood Ali spoke.

We,the faculty of English, are very proud of Fragrance English Association(FEA), a brainchild of the teachers and students of GHSS Thadathilparamba,Aroor,Olavattur.To have a full fledged English Club  to enlighten the campus was the dream of Thadathilparamba school family.Our dream came true when FEA ,an English association,  was  formed in 2012.We do believe that ,being the teachers of English language, we have to shoulder greater responsibilities.In our wild rush  to 'cover' the syllabus we seldom do what ought to be done.Platform should be given for the outstanding performers of the campus,where often their talents remain untapped.Their smartness and talents can be utilized for the uplift of the 'marginalized' of the campus.To achieve the tasks we should go beyond the four walls of the classrooms.Here lies the significance of Fragrance English Association.Hi,....lovers of English language...pray for us...to have  an ignited mind to guide our students to the peak of excellence.

Competence in English is inevitable to fly to the peak of excellence in the modern world. I am very delighted to know that Fragrance English Association (FEA) is organizing many programmes to sharpen the language skills of the students of GHSS Thadathilparamba. Let FEA  spread the fragrance of creativity,humanity,and fraternity in and out of the campus.I wish FEA all success.

The clubs of a campus play significant role to provide students  a platform to express themselves.The functioning of FEA  has contributed much to the creative uplift of the school.As the principal of the institution I am very delighted to share with you that the club is on the move with a lot of programmes to develop the language skills of the students.The programmes like' FEA PEP TALK' and TOP TEN of the WEEK(News Reading) are praiseworthy.

To be creative is to be divine. Let the FEA be a platform to unfold creative wings of the students .The confluence of creativity really flourishes the atmosphere of a campus. Each and every step you finish sharpens the aesthetic sense within you. I am sure the surplus energy of the students will be positively channelized by FEA which is being guided by the Department of  English.
